Through an extraordinary series of events beginning
in 1999, Dick & Gladys Funnell received a clear call from
God to go and pray for the next Welsh Revival in an old chapel.
As a result, they made West Wales their home in May of 2005, and
have joined the ranks of intercessors the Lord has been raising
up throughout this "Land of Revivals." |
This
tiny country has had an enormous impact on the face of Christianity
worldwide in the past. People around the globe are praying with
unprecedented fervor that God might unloose a mighty outpouring
of His Holy Spirit throughout the earth. Wales is once again about
to play a part in releasing God's move upon the earth! |
PRAYER
IS THE KEY
Revival is birthed in the heart of God,
and then engendered by His spirit in the hearts of men and women
of prayer and compassion for the lost. During the last several
years, God has been raising up intercessors throughout the country
of Wales, and the rest of the world.
There is a calling of deep unto deep. The scripture says that
all of creation itself is eagerly awaiting the manifestation of
the sons of God. The earth groans with the burden of sin and godlessness.
These are the times we are living in and have been praying for.
The trumpet is sounding, the Lord is positioning his forces.
“If my people
who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and
seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.” |

As Hezekiah spread out his concerns before the Lord in prayer,
let us join together with his cry in 2 Kings 19, "Now therefore,
O LORD our God, I pray, save us from his hand (the prince of this
world), that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are
the LORD God, You alone."
